Sami experiences

How much do you know about the sami people, the indigenous people of Northern Scandinavia, mostly known in Tromsø for reindeer herding? They are present in regions from Norway, Sweden, Finland and even Russia! They have their own languages, own flag, traditions and customs, and, due to many different reasons (political, environmental and cultural), they are the only ones legally fit to reindeer herd in several regions of the Nordic countries (such as Norway).

We suggest you dive in this amazing world of the Sami, learn about their traditions, stories and way of life, feed and pet their reindeers (and even go on a reindeer sledding experience) and hear them singing Joik, a Sami singing style!
