Reindeer feeding and Northern lights - Tromsø Lapland
Join our tour to get really close to reindeer! These gentle but curious creatures will come to eat from your hands and you will get plenty of time to interact with these magical beings. According to Sami people, the northern lights have a sound. Our camp is far away from the city lights and noise so it is the perfect spot to look out for the lights. The natural wonders can sometimes be predicted but never guaranteed. The lack of urban light pollution allows you to thoroughly enjoy the splendors of the night sky.
After the outdoor session you can enjoy a traditional hot Sami meal, see and learn about Sami artifacts and hear stories and joik (traditional Sami chanting). The camp is established and run by authentic Sami people with long reindeer herding traditions. By taking part in this evening excursion we hope you will be charmed by the fascinating reindeer - Our true hero in the Arctic.
