Fjord Cruise & Whale Safari with RIB
As an extra treat for you, from late October to the end of January, some of the world’s biggest mammals visit the coast outside Troms to feed on herrings.
The most common whale species we see are the humpback whale, killer whale (orca), harbour porpoise and sometimes even the fin whale. You are invited to come on board to take a close-up look at the feast.
Please note that whale sightings cannot be guaranteed, as a consequence of weather conditions and whales natural behaviour. The Arctic weather forces are unpredictable and can change quickly. Also, the behaviour of wild animals are affected by weather, food recourses, temperature and other causes. Due to these changes the tour can be amended at short notice. This can make the route, duration and destinations different from day to day.
The catamaran has comfortable seating inside for 146 guests as well as spacious decks outside on two levels for excellent viewing and photo opportunities. There is a kiosk on board to purchase hot expedition meals, snacks and cold drinks.
